Worcestershire based Porsche specialists SVP Motorsport secure 2022 season on the British Touring Car and GT Championship support card with significant Cayman GT4 outfit Deranged Motorsport.
This Week SVP Motorsport in Inkberrow, the renowned Porsche specialists were chosen by Jason Pelosi of Deranged Motorsport to look after the preparation and on event running of his Porsche Cayman GT4 in this season’s prestigious Porsche Cayman Sprint Challenge.
The Challenge series runs from 8th May to 16th October and will visit, Silverstone, Thruxton, Croft, Brands Hatch, and Donington Park with either two or three rounds being staged each weekend.
Porsche GB states:-
“Porsche Sprint Challenge Great Britain will play out over six exhilarating race weekends over the course of 2022. The race calendar links to different levels of the Porsche Motorsport Pyramid, whilst providing outstanding maximum commercial exposure. The weekend alongside Porsche Club Motorsport will give prospective graduates a flavour of the championship, whilst the rounds supporting British GT and the BTCC will bring live streaming and national television coverage respectively..”
Returning for its third season in the UK, this Challenge is one of a number of identically named race programmes run by Porsche across the world, with a North American, Central European and Middle East versions all being staged across the globe.
